These two properties–a rambling beach home and an idyllic beach cottage–are perfect examples of the houses you’ll find in mid-Atlantic coastal communities. They also demonstrate how we adapt our interior design styles to different situations.

For the first home, we chose a gray/beige paint for the exterior.  It is a nice neutral color, still offering that serene beach feel on hot summer days, but that contrasts with colorful porch furniture and planters, ensuring they pop.

Custom shutters bring the outdoors in, offering a peek at the bright and warm traditional seashore colors that reside outside of the cool interior.

For the second,in this lovely home in the South Cliff community, we chose a ‘wow’ chandelier to finish off the look in this show-stopping custom kitchen.
